On Monday, November 23, USA Today Sports Weekly, is releasing a Muhammad Ali Special Edition entitled "50 Years of Greatness." The timing of this 64 page publication is to coincide with Muhammad's upcoming 68th birthday in January, as well as the 50 year anniversary of his Olympic gold medal and first professional fight (in Louisville) in 2010.
Included in the publication, will be a section about the Ali Center and the first official public roll-out of the Muhammad Ali Center Legacy Campaign.
"Fifty years of Greatness" will cover many facets of Ali’s life—from his Louisville history, to
his first Olympic experience, professional years in the ring, his growth and experience over the decades, and the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville. Finally, this publication will include a number of essays from people whose life Muhammad has especially touched and on which he has made an everlasting impact.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Rasheeda Ali
Howard Bingham

Also, many individuals who have known Muhammad over the years –including local Louisvillians, former boxing opponents-and more- were interviewed for this piece.
This Special Edition will be on the newsstands from November 23rd to February 1st-it will sell for $4.95-and be available in about 45,000 locations around the country
. It will also be for sale in the Ali Center Store.
